Letting Go

I went to an Irish bar to watch the USA vs Jamaica game. I ordered a pint of beer and watched the entire game. I ordered fish and chips with some mashed tatters. The chips sucked. The fish was damn good. The place had a lot of tvs and the waitress was kind enough to show the game on the tv closest to me.

The other tvs were showing the LAA baseball game, the Dodgers game, a NASCAR race, and the final round of the US Congressional Open (golf). The place was about 3/4 full. Most of the people there were actually not watching the baseball games. They were watching the NASCAR race. They were oooh, and ahhhing when stuff happened in the race. Like when one car passed another. It was strange. The same people were also watching golf. And they would ohhh, and ahhh, and clap, when the ball went in the hole. Also, very strange. I had never seen real life NASCAR fans or people who watch golf on tv.

I’m going into work at 7 in the morning tomorrow. So I’m going to try to go to sleep soon. Which means I have to finish this quickly. So, one last thing. I rented a car this weekend and went to go see my friend in LA. Like I said yesterday, traffic sucked. When I got out of traffic and was cruising home, I heard ‘What You Know’ on the radio.

What You Know is a Two Door Cinema Club song. It’s a great song. It’s, at the risk of sounding gay, fabulous. I’ve known/liked Two Door Cinema Club for more than a year. They should be BIG! but I don’t want them to be big. I don’t want them to sell out. Like I’ve said before, I don’t want to have to pay more than $20 to see them in concert. Bands get expensive when they’re popular. Damn supply and demand!

Point is, I didn’t mind that Two Door Cinema Club was on the radio. It was ok. I actually liked that they were on the radio, even if it was on a Saturday at 1 in the morning. The song is below. Give it a listen/view and please tell me what is in the drums in the opening sequence.
