Digi World

In roughly 5 hours from this posting the Digi World will be visible in the sky.

Not literally of course. I told my little sister it would be in the sky and she thought it would really be up there. I told her it would if she believed it would be. She didn’t get it and asked if it was really going to be up there.

No, it won’t. Unless you believe.

For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about but have read on anyway, I’m talking about Digimon, specifically the first season.

The first season of Digimon starts with 7 kids going to the Digital World. They wander around the Digi World for months probably until they find a way back to the real world. In the real world they must find the 8th child who is destined to kill the evil digimon that preceded their return to the real world.

The kids first go to Digi World on August 1st. Since time in the Digi World passed very slowly compared to the real world, the months they spend in Digi World equate to seconds here. Therefore they return seconds after they left, on August 1st.

The 7 kids arrive at their houses late at night on August 1st.

On August 2nd, the kids spend the day looking for the 8th child. On the night of August 2nd, the evil digimon, Myotismon, captures the digimon that belongs to the 8th child.

Early August 3rd, Myotismon creates a thick fog bank to isolate Odiaba from Tokyo. He then kidnaps the residents in order to find the 8th child. The 7 kids discover the identity of the 8th child, but she is snatched by Myotismon. A battle ensues that kills Myotismon.

It was earlier prophesied that Myotismon would rise from the grave at the hour of the beast (6:06, 06). So at 6:06pm and 6 seconds Myotismon digivolves into VenomMyotismon and a second battle erupts.

Once VenomMyotismon is destroyed, the fog bank finally clears and…….the Digi World can be seen in the sky.

That should happen August 3rd, sometime past 4:06am Central Time. I believe
