Finding Serenity

I watched the finale of Firefly. It’s a movie titled Serenity.

Man, was that a good movie. Unlike most movies, I was content with the amount of main characters that died. It was a cool way to end the series.

I don’t know what else I could say. I don’t really feel like describing the characters or stories. I wouldn’t do them justice in my retelling. I’m glad I watched it. I’m probably would have been REALLY pissed if I had watched the show when it aired and lived through its canceling.

The movie did remind me of this quote.

“The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice. Ironically, their virtues make them vulnerable; they are often wounded, sometimes destroyed.” -Ernest Hemingway, author and journalist, Nobel laureate (1899-1961)

Most of the characters on the show were of that character. I liked that.
