I got interesting news today.
I’m going to Houston on business next, next week. We have a new client and we’re going to Houston to test beginning balances. This will be the almost senior first time testing beginning balances. Of course, it will also be mine.
I guess this is important because it could mean that I get assigned to more Houston based clients, which could mean that they might want me to move to the Houston office. BUHM BUHM BUHHMMM!! If anything, right now, I’m closer to getting moved to the Houston office than anybody else in the CS group.
Like I’ve said to many people, I’m not a fan of Houston. Traffic is horrible and it stinks. It’s way more humid than Dallas. It’s like Dallas but worse. It’s awful and I don’t like it. I would never go to Houston for personal reasons.
Although, the company is looking into a Chicago office after semi-establishing the Houston office. Now there’s somewhere I could see myself moving. If for any reason, it’s because it’s new to me.
Well yea, it is funny that I was planning on going to Chicago with a friend. I bailed on that trip and now I have to go to Houston. oh the irony!
To die for an idea; it is unquestionably noble. But how much nobler it would be if men died for ideas that were true. -H.L. Mencken, writer, editor, and critic (1880-1956)
